Hi! I have been in Malaysia for the past few days. My father had decided to drive there and we did just that. The journey there took about four hours. By the time we reached our hotel we were dead exhausted. We decided to take an hour's break before we went around the place.
After our break, we went on a trishaw ride around Malacca's heritage. The sights seen were beautiful and we really experienced a sense of unity in the Malaysians. After that, we went to a famous chicken rice ball restaurant. They served rice in the forms of balls. It was very cute and the chicken was very tasty. We enjoyed the meal a lot. With full stomachs, we went to the shopping malls to shop. There were many attractive items that were up for sale since it was the Chinese New Year. While my mother shopped for her clothes and accesories, I shopped for video games and DVDs. We were delighted by the cheap prices and we bought many things. Before we knew it, it was getting late. We decided to head back to the hotel to rest before we caught the fireworks that would be showcased later in the night.
After having a good rest, we went out early to have a nice spot to catch the fireworks. We settled down and ate our snacks. The fireworks came shortly. It was fantastic. It was much more nicer than Singapore's fireworks. We relaxed and enjoyed the show very much. The fireworks lasted for fifteen minutes before it ended. We wanted it to last much longer! It was getting very dark and my parents thought that it would be a good time to rest for the night. We got back to our hotel and had a good night sleep before the next day. "What a nice day." I thought to myself as I laid on my bed to sleep. I felt that it was indeed a very nice day.
